First Mortgage Loans:

Pre-qualification program
To help you identify homes within your financial reach, First Minnetonka offers pre-qualification programs. We will evaluate your credit history, earnings, savings and debt information to provide you with an estimate on the size of mortgage for which you could qualify, or the size of home you could afford. You can use the information gathered in this program to gain pre-approved status-a tool very helpful when you are ready to make an offer on a home.

Long-term, fixed rate mortgages
First Minnetonka offers competitive fixed rate home mortgages, for which the interest rate is fixed over the entire loan's duration. If you're concerned that interest rates are on the rise, you can lock in your interest rate with one of our mortgages.

Long-term, adjustable rate mortgages
If you're not concerned about rates rising-and want to take advantage of potential rate decreases, you may want to consider an adjustable rate mortgage. With this type of mortgage, the interest rate changes periodically.

Jumbo Mortgages
First Minnetonka provides jumbo mortgage options to meet your needs. The loans start at $417,000, however this amount changes periodically. Please contact one of our mortgage specialists for the current amount or for more information.

Construction Loans
When you're building a home, First Minnetonka's construction loans can provide you the resources you need to pay the builder throughout the construction process. When construction is complete, you can seamlessly transfer to another First Minnetonka home mortgage.

Mortgages for Individuals with low to moderate income
Depending on the area in which you want to purchase a home, you may qualify for a municipally offered mortgage loan. Available at typically lower interest rates, these loans have strict income limitations on which borrowers can qualify. Potential home owners should contact the appropriate municipality for more information, and if you qualify, First Minnetonka can provide you with this loan.
