Looking for a Loan? Review our loan options.
Review Our Loan Options
First Minnetonka offers a variety of installment loans and credit lines-whether you want to buy a new car, consolidate debt or begin a home improvement project. We make the process easy for you by providing you with a loan calculator you can use to determine your potential payments, based on the amount financed, rate and loan duration.
Installment loans:
Car loans
With First Minnetonka, you'll have access to a loan repayment schedule based on your monthly budget; and payments that can be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account, at a reduced rate. For car loans, we offer competitive fixed rate and variable rate options, and they can be repaid over as much as a five year time period, depending on the year of the car purchased. You can apply in person, over the phone or by fax.
Recreational vehicles
If you're in the market for a recreational vehicle, look no further than First Minnetonka for your financing. Our loans can be applicable to boats, campers, motor homes, motorcycles, personal watercrafts, snowmobiles or ATVs. We offer flexible terms on recreational vehicle loans, with the loan's duration dependent on the type of vehicle financed.
Aviation loans
Think of us whether you're doing a major overhaul or upgrade on an existing aircraft, or purchasing a new one. Our experienced lenders provide straight answers and fast decisions on flexible financing customized to your needs. With our competitive rates and personalized service, you'll be flying in no time!
Home improvement
We offer a variety of home improvement loan programs. Whether you want to expand or remodel your home, First Minnetonka City Bank's experienced staff can help you determine the home improvement program that best meets your need.
Home equity loans
With a First Minnetonka home equity loan, you can borrow a portion of the equity available in your home-and can use this equity for whatever purpose you choose. When you need money to buy a car, take a vacation, pay for a child's education or wedding, home equity loans can provide you with the money you need, and the interest paid on these loans may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor for more information on the tax deductibility of interest on your home equity loan.*
Loan Consolidation
Use one of First Minnetonka's consolidation loans to combine all of your outstanding loans into one loan, which may reduce your overall monthly payments and potentially save you interest.
Secured loans
Secured loans can be used for a wide variety of purposes. With a secured loan, borrowers secure the loan using collateral that can come in the form of automobiles, boats or other vehicles, CDs, the cash value of life insurance policies or brokerage accounts, among others.
Unsecured loans
With unsecured loans, the borrower does not pledge collateral to secure the loan, making the borrower's past credit history a key factor in determining qualification.
Home equity line of credit
With an open line of credit, you can access funds up to your available credit limit for whatever you want, whenever you want, and only pay interest on the money you actually borrow against the credit line. We offer flexible repayment terms to repay the outstanding balance.*
Revolving lines of credit:
Ready reserve
Also known as overdraft protection, a ready reserve is a line of credit attached to a customer's checking account. A loan advance is made if a check presented for payment exceeds the account's balance, thus eliminating potential overdraft charges.
Preferred line of credit
With the preferred line of credit, the borrower only pays interest on the amount used. Preferred lines of credit offer a variable interest rate plan and flexible repayment options. These lines start at a $3,000 minimum.
*Home value based on most recent property tax statement or appraisal. Some restrictions may apply. Subject to standard credit qualifications.
