Report a Fraudulent Email
If you suspect you've received a fraudulent email from First Minnetonka City Bank, forward it to us immediately at fraud_help@fmcbank.com. Please do not use this email address to send general questions about the bank or your accounts. If you have general questions, please contact us.
If you are uncomfortable forwarding the email, you may also call us during regular business hours and report it at (888) 935-8191. Please be sure to write down the title of the email, the sender and names of any attachments before deleting the email.
If you are in doubt as to whether or not an email is legitimate, do not respond to it. If the questionable email offers a link asking you to provide personal information on a Web page, do not click on the link, even if it looks genuine. If you suspect you have provided personal information online in response to a fraudulent email, immediately notify us at (888) 935-8191. You should also follow these steps:
- Make sure to change any of your passwords immediately.
- If you opened an attachment containing a virus
or other malicious program, you should clean your computer system
using anti-virus software and change your Internet and system
passwords.
- Monitor your account activity frequently
and report any suspicious activity to us. If you don't recognize
a transaction or suspect fraudulent activity, notify us immediately

- You should also contact one of the three major
credit bureaus and discuss whether you need to place a fraud
alert on your file, which will help prevent thieves from opening
a new account in your name.
